OxfordSM
A global marketing consultancy that teaches the world’s biggest brands how to do marketing better.
OxfordSM works with enterprise clients on brand strategy, marketing capability, and learning programmes - the Unilever, Mondelez, and LEGO end of the market. Their craft is methodology: structured thinking that turns messy marketing problems into practice a global team can actually run.
That methodology is exactly the kind of expertise AI systems need and rarely get. Most enterprise AI work fails on translation, and Oxford sits on decades of the material that solves it.
I’m the bridge between the consulting methodology and the machines. My work translates Oxford’s frameworks into AI-enabled systems, enablement programmes, and evaluation rubrics that client teams operate themselves.
A lot of it happens in regulated environments - healthcare, pharma, global multi-market rollouts - where "move fast" isn’t an option and governance has to be designed in, not bolted on.
The handoff runs towards the client. We build the proof of concept and the capability training for the future the enterprise wants its people to embody, then give IT, operations, the functional departments, and HR the capability and the step-by-step process to control it themselves.
Increasingly, the work is capability mapping across both workforces - the human one and the agentic one. Every business now runs both, and the mapping discipline transfers. I’ve written about what that does to the consultant’s job in What is a consultant now?
