Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
The short version
I don't collect much. I don't share what I do collect. I don't track you around the internet. If you email me, I'll reply - I won't add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who I am
This site is operated by Visual Content Consultancy Ltd (VCC), a UK-registered consultancy. The person behind it is James Pierechod.
- Website: vcc.group
- Email: [email protected]
- Based: West Yorkshire, UK
What data I collect
If you visit this site
This site is a static site hosted on Netlify with DNS through Cloudflare. I don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. Netlify and Cloudflare may collect basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of their hosting infrastructure. I don't have access to individual visitor data from these logs.
If you book a call
The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com (EU instance). When you book a meeting, Cal.com collects your name, email, and any notes you add. Cal.com's privacy policy applies to that data. I use it solely to schedule and prepare for our conversation.
If you email me
Email is handled through Microsoft 365. Your email address and message content are stored in my mailbox. I won't add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
If you subscribe to the newsletter
If and when the newsletter is active, I'll collect your email address through a third-party email service. You can unsubscribe at any time. I won't share your email with anyone else.
Cookies
This site doesn't set any first-party cookies. Third-party services (Cloudflare, Cal.com) may set functional cookies required for their services to work. I don't use cookies for advertising or tracking.
How I use your data
If you get in touch, I use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Schedule and prepare for meetings
- Send you the newsletter (only if you've subscribed)
- Follow up on conversations we've had (only if relevant)
I don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Data retention
I keep emails and meeting records for as long as there's a legitimate business reason to do so. If you'd like me to delete your data, email me and I'll sort it within 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Ask me to correct or delete it
- Object to how I'm using it
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. I'll respond within 30 days.
Third-party services
This site uses the following third-party services:
- Netlify - hosting
- Cloudflare - DNS and CDN
- Google Fonts - font delivery (Fraunces)
- Cal.com (EU) - meeting scheduling
- Microsoft 365 - email
Each of these services has their own privacy policy. I've chosen services that are GDPR-compliant or offer EU data residency.
Changes to this policy
I'll update this page if anything changes. No tricks, no buried clauses. If something material changes, I'll note the date at the top.
Questions
If you've got questions about any of this, email [email protected]. I'm a real person and I'll actually reply.
